City offering ASSET camps for local students







The city of Steamboat Springs is offering three weeklong ASSET camps in June for children entering grades 3 through 8.

The Adrenaline Rush three-night campout for sixth through eighth graders runs June 20 through 23.

The week will begin with camping in Glenwood Springs, where activities will include zip-lining, a climbing wall, the high ropes course and the Glenwood Adventure Park.



Participants will spend the night of June 22 in the beautiful wilderness outside Eagle to prepare for a trip through the Fulford caves June 23.

The Equestrian Camp is offered to beginner or intermediate riders and is held at CR Summit Ranch in the Yampa Valley. Participants can ride daily from 9 a.m. to noon and will join summer camp activities in the afternoon. This camp, for third through sixth graders, runs June 20 through 23.



The final June offering is a golf camp for beginner or intermediate golfers in third through eighth grades, scheduled for June 27 through 30. Participants will golf from 10 a.m. to noon daily at Rollingstone Golf Course and join the camps in the afternoon.
