City of Steamboat experiencing network issues affecting phone, email, video systems

The city of Steamboat Springs is currently experiencing network issues affecting its phone, email and live streaming video systems, city officials announced in a news release Monday morning.
The outage is creating inconsistent functionality for phone and email so residents trying to contact the city may be unable to get through at times. Some department network functionality may not be available or will see inconsistent access during the outage and may impact operational processes.
The live streaming video functionality for council and commission meetings is also down and will not be available for this week's meetings. Residents can still view live video coverage of meetings via local cable channel, TV-6. In addition, a DVD of the meeting is available typically the day after the meeting from the city clerk's office.
The city is working with Cisco Systems to address the network issues and bring impacted areas back online as quickly as possible. City officials apologize for the interruption of service and appreciate your patience.
