City accepting applications for open seats on Golf Management Committee through Oct. 13
The city of Steamboat Springs is seeking applications for three open seats on the Golf Management Committee, which helps oversee the city-owned Haymaker Golf Course, according to a statement released Monday.
The five-member volunteer committee meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, gathering at the Parks and Recreation office during the winter season and at the golf course in the summer.
Members collaborate with city staff, including the head golf professional, finance team, superintendent and Parks and Recreation director to guide the course’s operations.
In addition to shaping the future of one of Colorado’s top public golf facilities, committee members receive a Haymaker Golf Pass and a Howelsen Hill Ski Pass.
Committee terms last three years. The terms of the three applicants chosen to serve on the committee will expire on Oct. 31, 2028.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13. To apply, visit tinyurl.com/5u3jvp68.
