Carol Kentner: Steamboat is special place

Steamboat Springs is one beautiful place. We live here part-time, and upon our arrival last Friday, I went to Walmart to store up for the coming holiday. After loading my car up, I pushed my cart away and drove back to our condo on the mountain. When I got out of my car, I realized that I had left my handbag in the shopping cart in the parking lot.
Driving like a crazy woman back to the Walmart parking lot, I searched all carts only to find them all empty. I proceeded into the Walmart, and there sitting on the self of Customer Service desk was my red handbag.
Not only did I take a deep breath but I realized how very special this town is. I didn’t even look inside to see if all was there, I knew I was blessed. Thank you, Steamboat, you are a special place indeed.
