Cargo Rodeman: Arena ceremony

I am writing because the dedication ceremony for the “Four Seasons Arena” is this Friday, and we sincerely want to acknowledge everyone who helped with roofing Oak Creek’s hockey rink. So many people helped in so many capacities; but it isn’t over quite yet.

After the brief ceremony Friday, we need all those who assisted with this project in any capacity to get together for a Kodak moment. Two South Routt gentlemen have graciously agreed to build a commemorative plaque, of which this photo will be a vital part. There was an enormous amount of excavation, an additional parking lot built, 478-plus tons of gravel hauled and spread, huge footer forms built, 120-plus yards of concrete poured and finished, 186,000 pounds of steel erected, many, many lunches provided, beautiful halide lighting installed — and not one dime spent on labor.

You all know who you are, and you are amazing. Please come to the dedication, and I’ll never ask you for anything again … probably.

Thanks so very much, and I’ll see you at 6 p.m. Friday at the rink.
