Cooper vice president of Alpine Bank

For seven years before moving to Routt County, Cooper was with Alpine Trust and Asset Management, a division of Alpine Banks of Colorado. She has experience in managing client portfolios, account administration and business development in Glenwood Springs and Grand Junction.

Cooper is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, and holds an MBA from San Diego State University. She is a board member of the Saccomanno Higher Education Foundation and a member of the Association of Small Foundations.

Engineering firm announces new hires

Drexel, Barrell and Co. has hired Michael T. Mordi, P.E., and Arnold A. Potthast, P.E., L.I.S.T., as project managers in the firm’s Steamboat Springs regional office.

Mordi is experienced in project management and civil engineering design of residential, commercial and mixed-use development projects, and is a Colorado Department of Transportation-certified erosion control inspector. His current assignments include design development for the roundabout at Mount Werner Circle and Apres Ski Way and design for the city’s new sidewalk master plan. Mordi earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Montana State University and is a Colorado-registered professional engineer.

Potthast has experience designing and managing a wide range of civil engineering and surveying projects. He is working on the Poplar Street redesign in Hayden and the Heaven’s Gate subdivision in Yampa. Potthast earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota. Arnold is a Colorado-registered professional engineer and is working toward his registration as a professional land surveyor.
