Sullivan Agency named 2007 Agency of the Year

Sullivan Agency named 2007 Agency of the Year

SmartWool Corp. honored the Sullivan Agency as its 2007 Agency of the Year during last month’s Outdoor Retailer winter market show in Salt Lake City.

Owned by Mike and Sue Sullivan, the Sullivan Agency has been representing Steamboat Springs-based SmartWool since 1994. The Sullivan Agency has two associates, Allen Bishop and Brian Cornwell. The group directs sales in seven states, including Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas. The group grew its business in 2007 by 50 percent from the previous year.

Awarded annually at the Outdoor Retailer winter market show, the SmartWool Agency of the Year Award is an opportunity for SmartWool to thank an agency for outstanding results and superior customer service. Nominations are received from SmartWool employees as well as others on the company’s sales force, and selection is based on five criteria: growth, strategic planning and brand support, projection management and business excellence, communication and teamwork.
