Safeway sets grand opening
The Steamboat Springs Safeway store plans to celebrate a grand opening of its newly remodeled store on Dec. 5.
The $5 million construction project, which began last April, added more than 8,000 square feet to the building.
Improvements include doubling the size of the store’s delicatessen and expanding the variety of freshly baked goods the store can offer. The pharmacy and floral departments also have expanded capabilities.
