Chamber hires marketing director

Charlotte Mills has been hired as marketing director for Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association. She has a proven record of developing and directing successful strategic marketing/communications programs for consumer products. Her previous positions include integrated marketing manager for Kraft Foods, public relations and promotions manager for Balance Bar Company, senior account executive for The Professional Image, account executive/publicist for Levine/Schneider and marketing assistant for Rouse Communications.

Special events director hired



Dina A. Monico has been hired as the special events director for Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association. She has exceptional account management, project management, consulting and merchandising experience. Her previous positions include account manager and account executive for Carmichael Lynch Thorburn in Minneapolis, account executive for Novus Marketing, account manager for WatersMolitor, project manager for Montgomery Ward Direct and project manager for Carlson Marketing Group. Dina has been a training and developing consultant in Steamboat Springs since 1999.

This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.



Randy Howie has been promoted to the position of senior director of information technology for the Steamboat Ski and Resort Corp. Howie will be responsible for the resort’s information systems, telecommunications and software development, including the Customer Orientated Reservation Information System at Steamboat Central Reservations. Howie joined ski corp. in 1993 as the controller for Steamboat Central Reservations.
