First-time home buyer seminar planned

Colorado Group Realty broker and owner Martin Dragnev and Fidelity Mortgage loan officer Kathryn Pedersen will hold a first-time home buyer seminar from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 30 at the Steamboat Springs Board of Realtors office, 625 S. Lincoln Ave.

The seminar is free, and each attendee will receive a complimentary home buyer’s guide. Discussion topics include the pre-qualifying process, loan programs, dos and don’ts, what is negotiable, contract due diligence process, total costs of purchasing, how to submit an offer and cost of waiting.

Dragnev has been a broker with Colorado Group Realty for nine years and one of the principal partners for four years. Pedersen has been a loan officer for 14 years.

“I understand the home-buying process could be a daunting task to people with little to no experience, and I hope to educate attendees and give back to our community in my own little way,” Dragnev said.

“This seminar is another way for us to educate the community on the different loan programs and how best to prepare for purchasing a home,” Pedersen said.

To attend, RSVP to or call 970-761-2245.
