Business briefs: Asbury joins RE/MAX Partners Steamboat

Steve Asbury has joined RE/MAX Partners Steamboat as a real estate broker. He has 37-plus years of experience in the real estate industry and has lived in Steamboat for 20 years.

According to Kim Kreissig, RE/MAX Partners broker/owner, Asbury is a well-rounded professional with knowledge and experience in marketing, property management, home inspection and project sales at Christie Club and Catamount Ranch & Club.

“Steve exemplifies the experience, skill and dedication that it takes to be a RE/MAX broker,” Kreissig said in a news release. “He will be a wonderful partner on our RE/MAX team.”



Yampa Valley Electric moves to new headquarters

Yampa Valley Electric Association in Steamboat Springs has moved into its new home off of Elk River Road and U.S. Highway 40.

Customers now should start using the new location at 2211 Elk River Road.



Payments no longer can be dropped off at YVEA’s old headquarters downtown.

Public access to the new headquarters is off of Elk River Road.

Only service trucks and employees can access the headquarters from U.S. 40.

Customers with questions can call YVEA at 970-879-1160.
