Bud Werner Memorial Library offers read-and-discuss series
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Area residents can sign up for Bud Werner Memorial Library’s new non-fiction read-and-discuss series, Non-Fiction Tales of the American West, which will explore history, issues and concerns unique to the West. Participants will read “The Emerald Mile” by Kevin Fedarko, “The Big Burn” by Timothy Egan and “American Wolf” by Nate Blakeslee.
Participants can sign up for as many discussions as they can attend, and the library will provide copies of all three books. Readers can choose to attend a noon or evening discussion facilitated by the library’s book club guide Michelle Dover. For more information and to register online, go to SteamboatLibrary.org/events/non-fiction-tales-american-west, email mdover@steamboatlibrary.org or stop by the front desk.
