9News Health Fair is Nov. 18 at Whiteman

The Lowell Whiteman School is offering an informational health fair Nov. 18 in conjunction with 9News. The fair is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about mental and physical health.

The Lowell Whiteman School and 9News hopes to give teenagers and adults information that will help them make better decisions concerning their health.

Professionals from all fields, including psychologists, dentists and massage therapists, will give 10-minute presentations throughout the fair, which is open to the public from 1 to 4 p.m. Call Margi Missling-Root at 879-1350.

High school band

concert rescheduled

A Steamboat Springs High School band concert, which originally was scheduled for Oct. 13, has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday. The concert will be held in the high school’s auditorium and will begin promptly at 7 p.m. Musical styles ranging from Latin to jazz to heavy metal will be performed. The concert is free.

A Steamboat Springs Middle School band concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday in the middle school’s “cafetorium.” Musical styles ranging from Latin to jazz and rock ‘n’ roll will be performed. The concert is free.
