‘The Bachelor’ agents looking for eligible man

Casting agents for the popular ABC show “The Bachelor” called Steamboat Springs looking for an eligible man. They are scouting in towns where there is a higher percentage of men than women.

They are looking for a man between the ages of 25 to 35, single with no children. The man should have an established career.

“We are looking for the quintessential eligible bachelor,” said ABC casting director Amy Raymond. “We want a guy that you would love to marry. He should be charismatic and attractive.”

The Bachelor’s will be on television and numerous magazine covers, she said. “He needs to be the total package.”

He needs to be, in short, someone who 25 women would fall in love with and America would want to watch.

If you know this person and would like to nominate him for the show or for an article about Steamboat bachelors in the Steamboat Pilot & Today, e-mail aphillips@steamboatpilot.com or e-mail Amy.Raymond@warnerbros.com

The deadline for nomination is the end of January.
