Vacation Bible school offered for local children

Several local churches are offering Vacation Bible schools for local children.

They are:



— Concordia Lutheran Church is hosting its annual Vacation Bible School from July 17-21 for children ages 3 through those going into the fifth grade.

The school is daily from 9 a.m. to noon.



There will be songs, drama, weaving, candy making, pottery, a donkey, sheep, llama and more.

The theme is “Holy Land Adventure: Jerusalem Marketplace — Where Jesus Walked to the Cross.”

— Hayden Congregational United Church of Christ is hosting a Vacation Bible School from July 17-21 for children ages 4 through those going into the sixth grade.

The camp is 9 a.m. to noon. There will be stories, games, crafts, food, skits, singing and dancing.

Pre-registration forms are avail–able at Hayden Congregational Church and Mission of Grace Baptist Church in Hayden.
