Medical center seeks volunteers; hours flexible
Yampa Valley Medical Center needs volunteers for its lobby information desk and the pain management department. Various hours and shifts are available. Call volunteer coordinator Mindy Fontaine at 870-1146 for more information.
Lowell Whiteman School introduces new deadlines
Because of a growing number of applications from students in the Steamboat Springs area, The Lowell Whiteman School is moving from a rolling admissions process to a deadline process.
The school has two admission deadlines for next school year. Those seeking early admission should submit applications no later than Feb. 1. Applications for regular admission are due April 15.

Radio station looking for input from audience
The operators of WWFM 91.1 and 92.7 are looking
for feedback from listeners.
The station recently shut down its 92.7 translator so officials could determine whether transmission from an Emerald Mountain tower is needed to provide coverage to the area.
WWFM listeners who are experiencing a loss of reception of the classical music station can call Lynn Abbott at 870-6673.
