Briefs for Dec. 11

Local knitters are selling pink scarves to raise money for the Yampa Valley Breast Cancer Awareness Project. The scarves are available at Epilogue Book Co. in downtown Steamboat. All proceeds from scarf sales will go the Breast Cancer Awareness Project. Special order requests can be accommodated, and any local knitters or crocheters interested in making additional scarves are encouraged to call Jo at 846-2627. Non-knitters are encouraged to make cash donations to help offset the cost of yarn, or purchase pink yarn themselves.
