Registration opens for Young Life Golf Tournament

Registrations for the Aug. 26 Young Life benefit golf tournament are being accepted.

The tournament at Sheraton Steamboat Golf Course benefits the Christian outreach ministry to high school students.

Teams of four or five players are preferred; however, individuals may register and be placed on a team. Five-player teams must include at least one female golfer.

The cost is $125 per player and includes green fees, cart use, a barbecue luncheon and prizes.

The overall tournament sponsor is JSM Builders. The prize for the hole-in-one contest is a new car from Cook Chevrolet-Jeep-Subaru.

Volunteers needed to oversee is seeking volunteers to oversee major sections of the Web site. officials are looking for center managers for the Arts & Culture, Communications, Employment, History, Natural Resources & Environment, and Religion sections of the site.

Teams can enter Routt County Fair Ranch Rodeo

Entry forms are being accepted for teams interested in competing in the Routt County Fair Ranch Rodeo on Aug. 20. The cost is $200 a team. Entry is limited to the first 20 teams. Call 276-3068 or visit
