Steamboat Chamber seeks winter activity information

The Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association is seeking event information to include in its winter calendar of events. The calendar will include events that happen between November 2006 and April 2007. The information will be posted on the Chamber’s Web sites as well as in a winter vistitor’s guide, community maps, press releases and other publications.

Strings in the Mountains Kitchen Tour set for Sept. 9

Strings in the Mountains third annual Kitchen Tour is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 9. Tickets are $20. Visit six of Steamboat’s best private kitchens, sample foods and learn secrets from design experts. Tickets are available online, at the Strings in the Mountains box office, Off The Beaten Path Bookstore, The Homesteader and All That Jazz. Call 879-5056, ext. 105.



Vendors, volunteers sought for Labor Day weekend

Volunteers are needed Sept. 2 and 3 for the Wild West Air Fest at Steamboat Springs Airport. To volunteer, call Evan at 879-0882, ext. 208, or stop by the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association.

The Chamber also is looking for food vendors for the Vintage Aircraft Fly-in at Steamboat Springs Airport from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 2 and 3. Call Evan at 879-0882, ext. 208, or e-mail evan@steamboatchamber.com.
