Ski patroller remains in critical condition

Dean “Cody” St. John remained in critical condition Friday at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. He sustained life-threatening injuries Monday morning during a car accident he was involved in on Colorado Highway 127, three miles south of the Wyoming border.

Colorado State Patrol Trooper Scott Fisher said St. John was driving north when he apparently lost control of his 1991 Honda Accord on a patch of snow and slush and collided with a southbound logging truck. He is not expected to recover.



Steamboat Dance Theatre accepting applications

The Steamboat Dance Theatre now is accepting applications for dance scholarships for spring or summer dance. Anyone, child through adult, with financial need is welcome to apply for tuition assistance to study dance. Scholarship Application Forms are available through your local dance teacher or you may download it from http://www.dance-steamboat.org or call Wendy Smith Mikelsons at 736-1005. Artisans invited to Hahn’s Peak event

The second annual Hahn’s Peak Arts, Crafts and Antiques Fair is from 10 a.m. To 4 p.m. Aug. 25. Anyne who would like space for the fair should call 879-7291. Spces are $30 each with proceeds benefiting the Hahn’s Peak Historical Society.
