Boys lacrosse falls in top-10 matchup

The Steamboat Springs High School boys lacrosse team was wobbly earlier in the week in its first game back from spring break, and in its second, Saturday at Valor Christian, it fell over.

The Sailors, ranked No. 6 in the state, lost to Valor, No. 7, 18-7.

The loss drops Steamboat to 8-4 on the season.

The team is back in action Tuesday with a trip to play at Eagle Valley, 4-7 on the season. The Sailors will then celebrate Senior Day and wrap up their regular season Saturday at home against Douglas County, 4-8.
