Book sale, movie night at Colorado Mountain College to focus on bees, sustainability

Michael Schrantz

— The Colorado Mountain College Beekeeping Club and Students for Sustainability are hosting a book sale and movie night Thursday.

The book sale runs from noon to 5:30 p.m. and will feature books about sustainability.

The documentary “Saving the Life Keepers,” which focuses on the role of bees in the food system, will be shown along with a beekeeping lecture from 6 to 8 p.m. Donations benefit the club.

Last year, according to the Beekeeping Club, the movie night drew about 80 people from the college and community, and the club is hoping for even more this year.
