Jade Holman, daughter of Katrina and Kevin Holman of Steamboat Springs, was born at 7:18 p.m. Sept. 3, 2002. Jade weighed 8 pounds and 7 ounces and was 20 inches long. Her maternal grandparents are Delora and Kent Johnson of Laketown, Utah. Her paternal grandparents are Tom and JoAnn Holman of Greeley.
Alyssa Mane Rubeck, daughter of Toulon O’Connor and Kurt Rubeck of Steamboat Springs, was born at 10:47 a.m. Sept. 3, 2002. Alyssa weighed 7 pounds and 8 ounces and was 18.5 inches long. Her maternal grandparent is Christine O’Connor of Steamboat Springs. Her paternal grandparents are Gretchen and Herb Rubeck of North Boston, N.Y.
Dusty Rick Eckley, son of Andrea Duran and Michael Eckley of Grand Junction, was born at 8:02 a.m. Sept. 4, 2002. Dusty weighed 5 pounds and 3 ounces. His maternal grandparents are Marie Sorenson and Rick Monger of Grand Junction. His paternal grandparents are Lyle and Dorothy Eckley of Texas.
Ryan Steven Ruggles, son of Shelby and Steven Ruggles of Steamboat Springs, was born at 8 p.m. Sept. 5, 2002. Ryan weighed 8 pounds and was 20.5 inches long. His maternal grandparents are Stanna Stephens of Littleton and George Heath or Healdsburg, Calif. His paternal grandparents are Nelma Masden and Larry Ruggles of Montrose.

Riley Rae Owens, son of Melisa and Matthew Owens of Hayden, was born at 7:41 a.m. Sept. 7, 2002. Riley weighed 7 pounds and 1 ounce and was 19.5 inches long. His maternal grandparents are Nancy Musick or Colorado Springs and Leroy Musick of Grant, Neb. His paternal grandparents are Jolene Owens of Colorado Springs and Don Owens of Peyton.
Frederick McHenry Darcy, son of Mary and James Darcy, was born at 3:52 a.m. Sept. 9, 2002. Frederick weighed 8 pounds and 11 ounces and was 20 inches long. His maternal grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. McHenry Brewer of Louisville, Ky. His paternal grandparent, Joseph Darcy of Gunnison, is deceased.
