John Coleman Barkal Jr., son of Michele Russo Barkal and John Coleman Barkal Sr., was born at 6:54 a.m. Sept. 12, 2001.
He weighed 4 pounds, 10 ounces and was 17.5 inches long. His maternal grandparents are Kathy and Al Russo of Connecticut. His paternal grandparents are John and Mary Barkal of Connecticut.

Jack Henry Tracy, son of Nora McKay and Terry Tracy of Hayden, was born at 12:56 a.m. Sept. 24, 2001.
He weighed 6.24 pounds and was 19 inches long. His maternal grandparents are Lenora McKay of Alberta, Canada and Hugh McKay of Alameda, Calif. His paternal grandparents are Kirk and Lenora Tracy of Durango and the late Joanne Tracy of Denver.
Alanah Jordyn Sandoval, daughter of Beverly Hodges and Jesse Sandoval of Craig, was born at 6:11 p.m. Sept. 24, 2001.
She weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces and was 18.5 inches long. His maternal grandparent is Diane Beasley of Craig.
Her maternal great-grandparents are Joe and Eliria Cordova of Craig. Her paternal grandparents are John and Jane Sandoval of Grand Junction and Ted and Annie Long of Grand Junction.

Sloan Isabelle Russell, daughter of Janet and John F. Russell of Steamboat Springs, was born at 5:15 p.m. Sept. 28, 2001.
She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 20 inches long. Her maternal grandparents are Wendell C. and Beth Hicks of Steamboat Springs.
Her paternal grandparents are Joseph and Janet Russell of Littleton.
