Dating back to 1971, Ore House at the Pine Grove—one of Steamboat’s oldest continuously operating restaurants, now under new ownership by Scott Buchler—is still tops when it comes to T-bones and other cuts of beef.

“We pride ourselves in our consistency, always using never frozen, hand-cut, 100 percent Colorado-certified Angus Beef,” said partner and General Manager Seann Conway, touting such cuts as their house specialty prime rib.

Our pick: the Steak Ore House, a bacon-wrapped center cut filet topped with crabmeat and béarnaise.
