Salt & Lime is carrying on the tradition set by its award-winning predecessor, Rio Grande, by winning town’s Best Margarita.

The secret? Fresh-squeezed lime juice, manager Kelsy Demond said, as well as triple sec, simple syrup and Durango silver tequila.

And that’s just for its house marg.

“It’s very well-balanced between sweetness and lime,” she said. “It’s a great crowd-pleaser but also good as a gateway or stepping stone to try others. People start there and can then venture off to something more adventurous.”
