Nestled in the valley with amazing views at every turn, 18-hole Haymaker Golf Course aced this year’s Best of the Boat golf category.

Although great courses exist throughout town, Haymaker offers long fairways and challenging holes along with vistas and wildlife.

The city-owned course plays anywhere from 5,059 to 7,308 yards, was given four-stars by Golf Digest and ranks sixth in Colorado for Golf Week’s Best Courses.

With only 110 of its 233 acres used for fairways and greens, it also preserves open space, winning Audubon International certification for its preservation efforts.

“We want to create a memorable experience for everyone who walks through the door,” head pro Cody Hasten said.
