Over the past 32 years, Stacey Rogers figures he has sold cars to four generations of family members.

Some years at Cook Chevrolet, he has sold 250 cars. Other years 150. No matter how many he sells, he’s still town’s Best of the Boat when it comes to moving automobiles.

“Now I look back, and I wish I would have known how many cars I’ve sold here,” Rogers said. “I have a lot of repeat customers and referrals.”

Rogers got into the car business after selling his own businesses.

“My wife said to go out and get a job, and there was a car salesman ad,” he said. Despite not having any experience, he was hired on the spot.

“As soon as I got in I liked it,” Rogers said. “You meet a lot of great people. It’s a lot of fun.”
