Bear spotted: The Record for Sunday, May 6, 2018

1:45 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers received a call from someone who spotted a bear in tan alley in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. When officers arrived, the bear couldn’t be located, and no action was taken.

2:16 a.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who saw a drunken pedestrian walking up Fish Creek Falls Road. The pedestrian was given a ride home.

5:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who was missing a purse at the corner of Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

11:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a party’s missing bike in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. The bike could not be located, and a report was taken.
