Bear breaks fence: The Record for Monday, July 10, 2017

2:54 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear that broke a fence in the 300 block of Pearl Street.

10:39 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 1100 block of West Jefferson Avenue.
11:03 a.m. Officers were called to a report of grass damaged at a Howelsen Hill field.



11:27 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a motorist who was yelled at by someone in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue.

11:35 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike stolen at Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue.



4:32 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a structure fire in the 1000 block of Village Lane. Someone threw a cigarette next to a home and the side of the home caught on fire. The fire was put out, and there was minor damage to the home.

4:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person bitten by a dog in the 1400 block of Bangtail Way.

5:19 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

11:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in a dumpster in the 1400 block of Athens Plaza. It got out.
