Balmy temps expected in Steamboat for Mother’s Day weekend

Temperatures in Steamboat Springs could rise to around 75 F this Mother’s Day weekend, according to local meteorologist Mike Weissbluth.

In his twice-weekly report at SnowAlarm.com, Weissbluth said Friday’s high will reach around 70 F, which will likely be accompanied by afternoon showers.

After a relatively dry Saturday, Weissbluth forecasts that moisture will return on Sunday with afternoon showers.



The National Weather Service predicts Steamboat will see high temperatures of 72 degrees on Saturday and 73 degrees on Sunday.
