Coaches praise Bell's leadership

Steamboat Springs senior Todd Bell is focused on helping his team make a state title run in soccer this year, but sportsmanship is never far from his mind.

Bell has been a forward on the varsity soccer team for the past four years. During that time, coaches say he has progressed as a player and as a young adult.

Coach Rob Bohlmann said Bell works tirelessly to make his teammates look good on the field. He is an incredibly unselfish player with an uncanny ability to beat defenders one-on-one. Bell has started all but one match this year and has scored three times and assisted on eight other goals. He demonstrates a fierce competitiveness while remaining in the parameters of fair play. His coaches never worry about Bell not living up to the standards that the soccer program expects. He has become a leader on the team.
