3:08 a.m. A bear was walking on the sidewalk along Lincoln Avenue downtown. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers scared it away.

3:17 a.m. A bear was seen near the base of Steamboat Resort. It was gone when officers arrived.

5:30 a.m.  A bear was seen in the 2500 block of Village Drive. It was gone when officers arrived.

6:32 a.m. Officers and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters responded to an unattended death in the 900 block of Majestic Circle. Steamboat resident Austin Eubanks died overnight. Authorities do not suspect foul play. A Monday autopsy is planned to determine the cause of death.

10:15 a.m. Officers received a complaint of a dog at large in the area of Eigth and Pine streets.

11:45 a.m. Officers received a complaint of a dog at large in the area of 11th and Crawford streets. A person was issued a citation.

1:09 p.m.  Officers received a report of trespass in the area of Central Park Plaza. A woman was asking for money and marijuana.

1:26 p.m. A person turned in property they found at Bruce’s Trail on Rabbit Ears Pass.

2:36 p.m. A car was parked at a bus stop near 10th Street and Lincoln Avenue.

4:36 p.m. Officers received a report of a drunken pedestrian in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. They were unable to locate the person.

5:22 p.m.  A person reported a vehicle speeding and passing in a no passing zone near Steamboat Boulevard and Central Park Drive. Officers took a report.

6:35 p.m. A person turned in a wallet found at a convenience store in the 10 block of Anglers Drive.

7:02 p.m. A bear was in the 2200 block of Apres Ski Way. Officers scared it away by firing a non-lethal round.

9:14 p.m. Officers received a report of a bear on Hunters Court. They scared away the bear away by shooting a non-lethal round.

10:43 p.m.  A person reported a possible drunken driver in Steamboat. A woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI and DUI per se.

10:52 p.m.  Officers scared away a bear near 10th Street and Lincoln Avenue.

11 p.m.  In connection with the Steamboat Springs High School prom, officers conducted extra patrols near the Steamboat Resort Base Area.

11:23 p.m. Officers received a report of a purse stolen at prom. It was later recovered. Officers said a person might have gone through jackets at the coat check.
