Ask a Lawyer free legal clinics to continue
The 14th Judicial District, which serves Routt, Moffat and Grand counties, and Access to Justice will continue a series of Ask a Lawyer Legal Clinics at locations in all three counties.
The next clinic is set for 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12.
The clinics will be held in the county clerks’ offices of each county, located at the following addresses.
• Routt County: 1955 Shield Drive, Steamboat Springs; 970-879-5020.
• Moffat County: 221 W. Victory Way, Suite 300, Craig; 970-824-8252.
• Grand County: 307 Moffat Ave., Hot Sulphur Springs; 970-725-3357.
To make an appointment, contact the nearest county clerk’s office. Walk-ins will be accepted if time allows.
The free, individual appointments with volunteer lawyers will cover legal problems including divorce and custody cases, protection orders, landlord/tenant disputes, foreclosures, bankruptcy and debt problems and court lawsuits.
Professional interpreters will be available, and attendees are asked to bring relevant legal papers, such as leases and court documents.
