HIGH SCHOOL BANDS TO PERFORM CONCERT

STEAMBOAT SPRINGSTread of Pioneers presents “The Life and Work of Edward S. Curtis” photography exhibit through June 2002. At the turn of the 20th century, Curtis began a 30-year journey to portray the beauty and honor of the Native peoples of North America. Paired with

ethnographic study, Curtis compiled nearly 4,000 pages of text and 2,200 images representing more than 80 of North America’s native nations. Photo Express House sponsors the event. The

MAGAZINE HOSTS HOLIDAY PARTY THIS SATURDAY

STEAMBOAT SPRINGSMountain Sports Magazine hosts a Christmas party at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Sky Village Lodge off Rabbit Ears Pass in Steamboat Springs. The party also is a celebration to kick off the Adventure Racing Series beginning in January. The Christmas party will include a day of snowshoeing and cross-

country ski touring with raffles, food and drink. Experts and business owners will be available to demo equipment. Call 879-8339

STEAMBOAT GRAND HOSTS TWO DECEMBER CONCERTS

STEAMBOAT SPRINGSTickets are on sale for two Lyle Lovett performances at 7 and 10 p.m. Friday at the Steamboat Grand Hotel Ballroom.
