Area veterans honored during Veterans Day ceremonies at schools across Routt County

Veterans attending a program at Strawberry Park Elementary School were honored during a Veterans Day celebration on Tuesday. Strawberry Park and Soda Creek elementary schools both invited veterans to come to special programs on the holiday, and South Routt Elementary School and Hayden High School also held special events recognizing those who have served in the armed forces. The final program of the week will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sleeping Giant School.
