Annual ski and sport swap set for Oct. 22 at Howelsen Hill

The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club’s annual ski and sport swap will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 22 in the Howelsen Hill parking lot.

Early bird shopping for $15 per person will be from 10-11 a.m. with tickets sold at the door. After that, people may shop for free from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. If the weather turns bad, the event could be moved inside.

Additionally, community members are being invited sell ski and snowboard equipment, outdoor gear, sporting goods, winter and outdoor clothing and more at the swap. Consignment tags are five for $1, available now at the Winter Sports Club Office, open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.

The Winter Sports Club will keep 35% of each sale. Consignees must pick up unsold items between 3-4 p.m. on the day of the swap. Volunteers are still being recruited for the event. For more
