American Legion hosts veteran resource program

American Legion Post 44 is hosting a veterans’ resource program from 4-7 p.m. Friday, April 28, at the Steamboat Springs Community Center.

The program will include a presentation by Will Davis, the American Legion Department of Colorado Veteran Service officer, who will also be available to go over aspects of the claim process, healthcare and how to sign up for the PACT Act.

Val Brainerd will talk about yoga for veterans and Mike Lozano of War Horse Ranch will speak about what the nonprofit does to help the mental health of veterans, first responders and law enforcement officers.
