ALICE M. BOOCO

1911-2001

Alice M. Booco of Arvada, a homemaker, died July 20, 2001, at Clear Creek Nursing Home in Westminister. She was 90.

Alice was born Feb. 5, 1911, in Grand Forks, N.D. Losing her mother in death at age 6, she was raised by various relatives and friends in North Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Colorado. She married Gern Booco Nov. 19, 1930, in Steamboat Springs. They settled in South Routt County claiming land under the homestead act. Four children, William and Lawrence of Arvada, David of Westminster and Patsy of Thornton survive them in addition to 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren.

A service was held July 24, 2001, at Olinger Chapel followed by interment at McCoy.
