Additional bus service set for Independence Day

With the extra festivities downtown on the Fourth of July, Steamboat Springs Transit will operate additional, unscheduled buses during the day and night to help with increased passenger demand.

Buses will depart the Stockbridge at: 00, :20 and :40 minutes past the hour headed toward the mountain. Buses will pick up at the Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue at: 04, :24 and :44 past the hour until the final scheduled departure at 10:44 p.m.

Buses will depart continuously from downtown toward the mountain and west end until the crowds are cleaned up from the downtown bus stops.

Downtown parking is on-street, in several parking lots, as well as at the Stockbridge Multi-Modal Center located just west of downtown.

Steamboat Springs Transit invites the public to utilize the free bus for their transportation needs as a great alternative to driving. Bus schedule information can be found under “Bus Service” at steamboatsprings.net or by calling 970-879-3717.
