7-year-old falls from balcony

— A 7-year-old child fell from a second-story balcony at the Kutuk Condominiums on Ski Time Square Drive on Saturday.

The incident occurred at 11:30 a.m., and police believe the child accidentally fell. The child’s family was visiting Steamboat.

Steamboat Springs police and firefighters arrived and found the child was responsive.

Doctors suspected the child had internal injuries, and the child was flown to Children’s Hospital Colorado for treatment.
