Colorado Crane Conservation Coalition (CCCC) is accepting entries for three contests that allow participants to showcase their creative skills and appreciation of Greater Sandhill Cranes. All contest rules can be found at CCCC’s website, http://www.ColoradoCranes.org.

The Crane Coloring Contest is open to kids ages 3-18 years old until August 8, 2025. All entries will be displayed and awards will be given out at a kid’s night at the Yampa Valley Crane Festival on August 26, 2025. The coloring page can be downloaded from CCCC’s website and is also available at libraries throughout the Yampa Valley.

The Yampa Valley Crane Festival Poster Contest is open to youth ages 10-15 years old through July 14, 2025. The winning entry will be displayed throughout the Yampa Valley to advertise the festival. The winner also receives a $100 cash prize.

CCCC’s Photo Contest is open to all amateur and professional photographers through August 9, 2025. Participants can choose from four different categories, with prizes awarded in each category and displayed at the Yampa Valley Crane Festival.
