2019 WinterWonderGrass releases Grass After Dark lineup and tickets
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — The music continues even after the main stage goes dark during the WinterWonderGrass Festival.
Back for its third year in Steamboat Springs, WinterWonderGrass has released its Grass After Dark lineup and tickets.
According to the recent news release, the series manifested through the attendees’ experiences of their favorite bands, bearing witness to those “true-to-WonderGrass moments” in the most intimate of settings.
“The Grass After Dark series continues the journey of WinterWonderGrass into the community,” said Scotty Stoughton, WinterWonderGrass Festival founder. “Catch your favorite acts up close and personal in intimate rooms like Schmiggity’s and the Chief Theater or ride the gondola to Thunderhead (Lodge) and feel the energized bands as they are spontaneously joined by festival friends.
“A bit of magic transpires each evening as you never know who is going to sit in where,” he continued.
The late night series will kick off with the previously announced Mountain Top Dinner, featuring music by The Lil Smokies.
Attendees can ride the Steamboat Resort gondola to 9,080 feet above Steamboat to Thunderhead Lodge to enjoy the third annual, ranch-inspired dinner with appetizers, an informal, family-style, three-course meal where foods and products local to Steamboat and Colorado will be featured and paired with beer, wine and spirits. Tickets for the Mountain Top Dinner are on sale and available here.
Outside of the Thunderhead Lodge, at 2305 Mount Werner Circle, Grass After Dark shows will spill into Steamboat Mountain Village and downtown with shows at The Steamboat Grand, at 2300 Mount Werner Circle; Schmiggity’s, at 821 Lincoln Ave.; and the Chief Theater, at 813 Lincoln Ave.
