STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — A music festival that attracts visitors from across the country and has established Steamboat Springs as its Colorado home has begun selling single-day passes. Back for its third year in Steamboat, the 2019 WinterWonderGrass Festival has released its complete daily schedule and announced a new addition to the event this year — WinterWonderWomen, a set of music presented by many of the female festival artists.

The festival will kick off with a free concert by Love Canon and Buffalo Commons from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21 in Gondola Square at Steamboat Resort and will continue for three days and nights with over 25 bands performing on four stages.

Headlining artists include Trampled by Turtles, Railroad Earth and The Infamous Stringdusters. Additional artists include Jeff Austin Band, Fruition, The California Honeydrops, The Lil Smokies, Billy Strings, The Shook Twins, Lindsay Lou, Love Canon and River Whyless.

A limited supply of single-day tickets are now on sale starting at $88, and organizers anticipate they will sell out before the end of the year.

Although VIP tickets are sold out, there is still a limited amount of general admission, three-day tickets available, which include access to three hours of beer tastings featuring 23 Colorado craft breweries from 2 to 5 p.m. each day.

In addition to show tickets, the festival is selling $159 tickets to a three-course dinner that will be held at the top of the gondola at Thunderhead Lodge. The dinner will feature a performance by The Lil Smokies.

Each night, after the main stage headliner, festival attendees are invited back to the Soapbox Stage for one last set featuring Pixie and the Partygrass Boys on Friday, Feb. 22, Chain Station on Saturday, Feb. 23, and the WWG Allstars on Sunday, Feb. 24.

On Jan. 8, WinterWonderGrass will announce its “Grass after Dark” late night shows that take place around the mountain at intimate venues.
