It all starts with people for Jon Wade at The Steamboat Group.
“People want to know that you’re in their corner,” he says.
One of Wade’s mentors taught him to play for the person next to you, so Wade focuses on bringing together the best people and marketing possible to help his clients achieve their goals.
Wade has followed that principle to build his business helping locals and out-of-towners with their real estate needs.
“I have high standards for how we treat our clients, the service we give them and the results we deliver,” says Wade. “If we focus on taking good care of people instead of just sales, it’s a better outcome for everyone.”
He also adds that price doesn’t matter.
“We are in the business of helping people first,” he says. “People often ask if I am willing to help them if it isn’t a luxury property after seeing our advertising. But one of our core principles is giving the best service and marketing to entry level and luxury clients alike.”
Wade is also active in the community, volunteering on four different boards and creating The Steamboat Group Fund with his wife, Wendy, to help keep Steamboat special. Last year the fund donated over $40,000, with the goal to increase it to $100,000 annually.
