2019 Best of the Boat pet-friendly business: Paws ‘N Claws All Things Pet

Your pets might be getting the treats, but Paws ‘N Claws earned Most Pet Friendly Businesses this year for treating customers right.

Dave Terranova, who owns the store with his wife, Jodi, says its employees truly care about pets and their people.

“Our employees go over and above to make people feel important,” Dave says. “They know the importance of people’s pets.”

Paws ‘N Claws has operated as a family-owned pet store for 26 years, with the Terranovas at the helm for the last 16. From the bully sticks in their doggy deli to grooming supplies and beds, it helps keep your furry friends happy and healthy.

Dave wants customers to gain something from walking in the store, even if it’s just an explanation or a question answered. He also gives back to the community, supporting organizations such as the Routt County Humane Society, Steamboat Digs Dogs and Routt County United Way.

“We will continue to support the community in any kind of fundraising events that we can,” he says.
