2019 Best of the Boat margarita: Salt & Lime
Believe it or not, Salt & Lime sold a whopping 34,000 of its award-winning house margaritas in 2018. That’s a lot of salted rims.
The secret? Fresh-squeezed lime juice, says manager Kelsy Demond, as well as Triple Sec, Simple Syrup and 100% Sauza blue agave tequila. And that’s just for its house marg.
“It’s very well-balanced between sweetness and lime,” she says. “It’s a great crowd-pleaser, but also good as a gateway or stepping stone to try others. People start there and can then venture off to something more adventurous.”
