Nestled in the valley with amazing views at every turn, 18-hole Haymaker Golf Course aced this year’s Best Golf Course category for its long fairways, challenging holes, friendly atmosphere and great views.

The city-owned course plays anywhere from 5,059 to 7,308 yards and was given four-stars by Golf Digest. It also ranks sixth in Colorado for Golf Week’s Best Courses.

“We want to create a memorable experience for everyone who walks through the door,” says head pro Cody Hasten.

With only 110 of its 233 acres used for fairways and greens, it also preserves open space, winning Audubon International certification for its preservation efforts.
