2019 Best of the Boat cellular phone company: Verizon Wireless/Go Wireless
Founded in Southern California in 1995, and now with more than 750 stores across the country, GoWireless goes to the top as town’s Best Cellular Phone Company.
The reason, says Kevin Pierce, who manages one of its two stores in Steamboat, is service. “We’re all trained at the same level as a corporate Verizon employee,” he says, adding they’re one of Verizon’s six corporate partners, meaning more support and training. “We’re also a lot more flexible about offering great deals and promotions.”
Managing the store in the Central Park location is Timothy Miller. Both credit the stores’ hard-working staff and their attention to customer service.
