Friday, Nov. 24
Fresh Air Friday
8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. | Yampa River State Park, 6185 W. U.S. Highway 40
Fresh Air Friday is a day of free admittance to Yampa River State Park to provide a non-shopping alternative to encourage people to get outdoors. The park will provide hot chocolate, as well as a photo scavenger hunt for entry into a raffle with great prizes.
Lions Club Christmas Tree Sales
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. | Christy Sports Central Park Plaza, 1835 Central Park Drive
The Steamboat Lions Club’s annual Christmas tree stands are at Christy Sports in Central Park Plaza. Proceeds from tree sales go to a variety of local programs.
Jon Ham rocks the Brewery
6 p.m. | Storm Peak Brewing Co., 1885 Elk River Plz
Jon Ham brings the live-looping, one-man-band party out to Storm Peak Brewing for the first time.
10 p.m. | Schmiggity’s, 821 Lincoln Ave.
Established in 2009, Zolopht has become a popular act on the Colorado music scene. Loosely described as psychedelic reggae-rock, Zolopht is known for their catchy yet progressive sound.

Small Business Saturday

Shop local and visit retailers downtown to cross some things off of the holiday shopping list and sample a few sweet treats while you’re at it. Lincoln Ave.
Eric Delany and Matt Holiday
9 p.m.| Colorado High 5, 635 Lincoln Ave. Unit N
The local duo of Eric Delany and Matt Holiday, aka Happy Holidays will perform live featuring a variety of covers.
10 p.m. | Old Town Pub, 600 Lincoln Ave.
The Workshy, is an eclectic six-piece funk group based out of the Denver area, known for pulling influences from jazz, blues and funk. With members from L.A, Washington, New York, Iowa and South Korea, The Workshy is able to create a sound that is unique as their roots.
On Snow Demo Weekend
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. | Saturday and Sunday | Gondola Square, 2305 Mount Werner Cir.
For opening weekend at the Steamboat Ski Area take a pair of Grass Sticks poles out for a few runs and discover why bamboo is better. There will be demo day deals.

Yoga in the Taproom

Join yoga instructor Sal for this all-levels flow class. $10 for 1-hour class and a pint of beer after class.
Sunday Latin Dance Night
7 p.m. | Schmiggity’s, 821 Lincoln Ave.
Latin Dance Night at Schmiggity’s with a free Salsa lesson, followed by a night of dancing.
